Tracy Balan does not follow the pack and she does not need to! A Brooklyn native for more than 20 years, who has experienced it all from being in the U.S. Military to front row seats at fashion week, she lives by the Motto “Life is like a buffet you might as well have it all now!!!” Tracy has proven this by becoming one of the most successful up and coming hair designer in the hair industry today.

Tracy B. was raised in a family of four girls, where she had more than enough subjects to hone her skills. Her earliest recollection of wanting to be a hairstylist was at the age of eight. "It was Christmas" she says, "Mom got me a life size hair station that came fully equipped with a life size doll to practice on." It was then that Tracy B. fell in love with styling hair, "Truthfully," she says, "I love being able to transform people."

Networking came naturally to Tracy, but she wanted to know more about running a business. She decided to enter a business program in hopes of increasing her knowledge on the subject of marketing. Excelling, she won second place in the program’s competition with her marketing and financial plan. Yearning for more knowledge and with an athletic side looming, she joined the U.S. Military Intelligence Department. This went against the wishes and warnings of those close to her. But once again she propelled and fearlessly served during war times as part of the U.S. Army. Three years later, a leg injury sent her home as Military Veteran, shattering all her hopes of attaining high status in military. Even though she couldn't achieve the status that she had wanted to achieve, she refused to settle for defeat. Tracy immediately began working toward a new kind of success. For the next five years Tracy worked as a consultant and worked with fortune five hundred companies.

Tracy decided it was time to elevate the “Balan Brand”. Tapping into her childhood dream, she decided to enroll in cosmetology school at Empire Beauty School; using all her skills Tracy has created her own lane. Molding her passion for hair-styling into a brand as a master in extensions and has worked with celebrities all across the world to included the likes of Florence of "Florence and the Machine", Rita Ora, and many more. Her clientele ranges from career women to cool cosmopolitan girls sharing the same desire: to alter their appearance quickly and easily.

After only 5 years, Tracy B. is ready to supersede the status quo. Launching a information hair website: Hair Chit Chat (http://www.HairChitChat.com), And even giving back to the community with her organization C.O.I.F.E.D. Org (http://www.COIFED.org).

Tracy Balan is in her own lane using her relentless drive and wicked work ethic. She respectfully drives in it while paying homage to her past, current and future hair comrades. She plans to strive for success with the same unstoppable attitude and business savvy that propelled her through her earlier years.
